How many times have you reached for that glass bottle of ketchup at a restaurant only to struggle to get one drop of ketchup out? I have many times. Who knew there was a right and wrong way to pour ketchup? According to Heinz, there is a proper way, and it’s all about the angles.
Heinz Canada has decided to put an end to this common problem once and for all with a new label. This label, created when Heinz partnered with creative agency Rethink Canada, may look like it was put on wrong, but in fact, it was made that way. If you turn the bottle on it’s side to read the label properly, you will find the bottle is at the optimal ketchup pouring angle! Problem solved!
Kraft Heinz Canada senior brand manager Brian Neumann said, “This year, we have focused our marketing on reinforcing the emotional connection fans have with the brand in clever and ownable ways. We’re always thinking of fun, cheeky ways we can highlight the iconic and timeless nature of the product to give our consumers a smile. “
Unfortunately, they were only available for a short time in Canada for a trial run. Fingers crossed we see them in stores soon!
