In an ongoing feud in the fast food world, Wendy’s gets things fired up again with a new menu item. The online chicken fight started back in August when Popeye’s released it’s first-ever fried chicken sandwich, which then sparked a social media craze and even led to Popeye’s selling out of their chicken sandwiches.
Well, Wendy’s is putting a new pawn in the chess game by releasing a limited-edition Bacon Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich that is now available nationwide. The sandwich is a crispy fried chicken fillet topped with two slices of American cheese, fried onions, jalapenos, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon, and a dollop of warm cheddar cheese sauce.
