Not to be left out of the holiday flavors bandwagon every other company is jumping on, The Coca-Cola Company is gearing up for the holiday with some new soda flavors. Starting this fall, expect to see two wintry varieties of some classic favorite drink in the U.S.
Expected to hit stores by the end of September, Coca-Cola Cinnamon and Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite will make their debut. They are kicking off the holiday season early with the launch of these new limited-edition flavors, which will only be available in stores through December 31, or while supplies last.
This isn’t the first time Cinnamon Coke has been on the market, but it is the first time for the U.S. Previously, it was released in the U.K as a Coke Zero variety. The British version, according to a press release was “bursting full of warming flavours and is guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit as we head into the Christmas season.” Some that tried it described the flavor as “a bit like having a cinnamon bun while drinking a coke.”
While the Coke version isn’t new, the Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite is a completely new flavor. Representatives for Coke would not confirm the flavor, so we’ll have to wait and see what this one tastes like.
Don’t worry! I’ll make sure to test both of them for you and report back. Which one would you like to try? Coke? Sprite? Both?
